Software utility to test speed between two points?

Hi, I'm looking for a software utility to test the network speed between two points over a WAN / LAN connection. Preferably a standalone Windows tool, and a command line tool is fine. Anybody used anything in the past they would recommend? Thanks.

Cheers~! Works well.

I also found a product called Qcheck (free), but it does need to be installed on at least one PC. Once it's setup though, you can run standalone endpoints on as many machines as you want and test them all from the Qcheck install PC.
