Where to get car Warranty?

    Hi,

    I am looking to take out warranty cover on a second hand car.

    1. Where in Ireland can I go to take out this cover, I've run a search on the internet and can't come up with any companies.

    2. Do UK based warranty companies cover cars in Ireland?

    3. When dealers, small independent dealers, offer warranties, what type of warranties are these, what do they cover, and are these direct from the dealer or through an existing warranty company?

    Any help appreciated!

    None do as far as i know

    No
    3. When dealers, small independent dealers, offer warranties, what type of warranties are these, what do they cover, and are these direct from the dealer or through an existing warranty company?
    Depends on the terms and conditions of the warranty, usually major failure, engine, gearbox etc, but not wear and tear items.
