    Hi there, I have a female red tail boa, bought from ben in reptile haven. I need a male thats between the age of 6 months to one year. Anyone have one there getting rid of or dya know anyone who does cause im not having much look iwth the pet shops.

    Getting older snakes is not always easy.

    My local pet shop has a very young red tail for sale - not sure of the sex tho.

    Maybe Ben could get one in for you?

    How old is your female? If she's not of breeding age yet, you can get a male that's a year younger than she is. Females tend to reach breeding age at 3, males reach breeding age at 2.

    So, if she's a yearling, you could get a baby redtail that will be ready for breeding the same year she is.

    Thanks for replying lads. My female is about 8 months. I've been into ben already. Hes going on a shopping spree to London around Paddy's week he said he'g gimme a call if he gets one.

    Maybe I'll be lucky, here's hoping?
