    Other than seeing insanely elite oly lifters in a few youtube videos I've hardly any frame of reference for what's considered a big lift in the snatch or C&J. Is there some sort of thing anywhere setting out roughly what's considered novice/advanced etc at various bodyweights or years training?
    This seemed like the thread to post this in, haha.

    A bodyweight snatch is a good benchmark for the passing from beginner to being ok'ish. Emphasis on 'ish. This also depends on much work you put into it I suppose. Someone who doesn't train it much getting a BW snatch is pretty damn good.
