want to build a pc for photo editing

    What would i have to pay to get a decent motherboard and what type should i get.
    What processor how much
    ram would i need
    i will be using cs3
    all advice appreciated
    i have hard drives and cd re-writers etc...

    Now i may get bashed for this but have you thought about a Mac?

    I find for Photo / Video editing Mac's are infinitely better and easier to use.

    I love my PC for day to day, and gaming but i find it doesnt compare to the Mac for multi media etc..

    Just my two cents...
