Thanks for all the replies to my decking queries - just working on design now. Thanks for all the replies to my decking queries - just working on design now. Have a simple enough idea - two rectangles - one is 2m x 3.5 m and the other 4 m by 3.5m - these are joined together in an L shape along the back of the house. What I want to do is to fill in the gap of the L so the whole piece covered by decking/AN other is 7.5m by 3.5m. What I'm trying to decide is what to fill the gap with - been looking at gravel or paving but I can;t decide - it will be a space of about 1.5m x 3.5m and I wanted something to contrast with the decking, but still be usable. What do people think?
