lol u aint looking close enough then :P

and if you think playing with best graphics does anything for ya gaming wise it dont..get the worst graphics you can get imo

Of course it does. Try shooting someone half way across the map at low res and settings. Is that a man, or a bush? Too late, I'm dead. It might work in some of the tiny maps but not in most of them.

No offence to KamiKazi, but he is no better then a lot of the players that frequent the boards.ie bash, who run at 1680x1050/1900x1200 max settings at half the frame count. So I don't get why you'd sacrifice all that just to achieve a constant 100fps, unless you have delusions of grandeur (i.e think you're a professional). Again I can't stress enough this is nothing to do with KamiKazi, just an example since his picture is at low res/settings even though he must have quite a decent card to achieve 125fps even with said settings.

I run at 1680x1050 max settings at 50fps (sometimes hits as low as 20-25fps when things get really crazy) and with a logitech travel mouse. My ratio is usually 3:1, at worst I can keep up 1:1 even on a really bad team and overall I have a few more thousand kills then deaths so I'd regard myself as a decent player. I think people try to attribute their success to the strangest things....I tried playing at 100fps at 1024x768 medium settings and just got my ass kicked by long range shooters I couldn't see until it was too late.

Anyway, not mine, Wideband posted this over on GFF...

my 8800 GTX is more than capable of running the game @ 1680x1050 and keep above 125 fps no problem, I use an fps config because it does make people easier to see in the maps, and I dont know why you would want glow / depth of field / other crap eye candy on except for showing off your amazing pc.

But if you have to have a Low vs. High graphics debate, please make a new thread and dont drag this one off topic.
