Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi LaMer
I was in Namibia year before last, in late August 06..loved it - it was very hot and dry - Namibia is mostly desert, but I also went to the coast.
went to Etosha National Park for safari and saw lots and lots of elephants, giraffes, zebra and also some lions and cheetahs. Aug/ Sept/ early Oct is best time for safari

There were a lot of long drives but the scenery is beautiful so it's enjoyable. Was on a tour with other people, not sure if you could go independently as there would not be any public transport and not many paved roads

It was a real adventure - I'd totally recommend it if thats what you are in to..

    good luck
