I'm absolutely gutted about this. He's the star of my favourite film of all time (Point Break) and was an absolute gent. I normally don't feel too much when celebrities pass away but I'm genuinely upset by this one, even though I knew long ago it was coming. An absolute legend and he'll be badly missed.

    R.I.P Bodhi.

Point break is one of his best. He fought a good fight. :(

That is so upsetting, I know that for late stage pancreatic his odds were never great but I really hoped that he would beat the odds. RIP

This is very sad, he was too young to die really.
    Rest in Peace

    RIP Patrick.

For me, it won't be Dirty Dancing or Ghost that i'll remember him by, but as Orry Main in the North and South Series, which I usually watch full through at least once every 18 months. It's a pity he wasn't in more main stream stuff. He seemed to be one of the true gentlemen of hollywood.

I finished watching North and South about a month ago.
He was a fine actor and by all accounts a lovely man.

    It's sad news indeed.

In most of the interviews I saw him in, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. I'll be watching Dirty Dancing this weekend for sure anyway!

Is it just me or do celebs seem to pass away in groups??

Was anyone watching his recent series - "the beast". It was super, but he did not look like a well man in it.

Anyone know how many of them he made?

    Merv.

OMG, what is that? Gotta be one of the worst hip-hop songs I've ever heard (and that includes the Indian rap song 'Welcome to Mumbai' I heard over in India)

It's a damn shame about Swayze though. The only things I can recall seeing him in are Ghost, Dirty Dancing and City of Joy. Is Beast any good?

Thank you Cathy and JP Liz.
Hopefully this will raise more awareness. Unfortunately, it is one of the harder cancers to not only detect but to treat as well.
I have a new respect for nurses (especially oncology nurses) as they do an amazing job which is often not fully appreciated imo.
