Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just noticed the red button is not working on the guitar hero 3 guitar I bought from play.com in December. Who does the responsibility lie with replacing/fixing it, microsoft or play.com?

    Thanks

Retailer or Activision. It has nothing to do with Microsoft they don't produce the game.

    Retailer. All the way.

Ya Retailer, if they say it's not, quote the sale of goods and supply of services act 1978. If they still deny it, bring theirr asses to the small claims court.

Unfortunately I bought it from play.com. They conveniently have no contact information on their site but I found four different email addresses through google which I emailed last night. I think I'll have to call them in the morning.

before you go sending it back take off the neck and get a light and look in the socket are all the pins up or are any of them stuck down ? this has happened to me more than once just get something like a butter knife and wiggle it about the one thats stuck down till it pops back up.

I think he means - it doesn't matter if you bought it in a bricks and mortar shop or on Play.com, they are still considered "the retailer" and should be your first port of call for returns. Failing that, go to the Distributor / Publisher - I think it's Activision in this case.

The OP originally talked about bringing it up with MS, but that wouldn't accomplish much as they have nothing to do with the game or the Guitar peripheral. It would be like talking to Dell because the new mouse you bought in CompuStore doesn't work.
