    Hey, I tried it.. Put in a job on a Monday for a house extension, and had 3 contractors contact me in the next few days.

    Cost me nothing too :D

    Yep. Sly layout, so probably sly in many other ways.

    There is no real transparency (bar FAQ's) for the contractor relating to the payment they want from him, before he has climbed through the 5-stage registration process.

    Hence the tactic that someone has trawled that far filling out forms that they will pay the last part rather than the process having been in vain.

    They're my thoughts.

    What do you think about this from a contractor side "padraigosca" ?

    Furthermore, could you, out of interest, show us the link you posted on Monday for a house extension? Just out of interest of course;)
