The next WWE Films production after “12 Rounds” starring John Cena is called “Journey of Death” and will star Triple H. According to Wade Keller of the PWTorch Newsletter the film has been in the works for a few years and will be a modern-day Western. It is scheduled to be released in 2009.

John Milius was atached to this one for a long time. He's the director behind Conan The Barbarian, and also worked on the script for Apocalypse Now, and Rome.

That would at least indicate that it's being treated fairly seriously by wwe.

Taker needs to play a lone ranger type character and he only need one scene where he shoots a bad guy and says...wait for it... "Rest in peace"! Now that would be cool.
