I am dying to give it a try and have just bought some muffin trays on ebay. But where can I find large, American-style muffin cases? The ones I want would be much bigger than the traditional…

Hi all,

I have found an amazing recipe for a "meal muffin" - i.e., a meal in a muffin, packed full of fruits, vegetables and nuts. I am dying to give it a try and have just bought some muffin trays on ebay. But where can I find large, American-style muffin cases? The ones I want would be much bigger than the traditional fairy-cake cases I grew up with, and haven't seen any around in the shops.

Any tips appreciated. I am based in Dublin/Kildare.

I found them in a pound shop before, bizarrely. They're Supercook though, so you should be able to get the relatively easily.

I picked up some muffin cases in M&S in Dundrum last night - they also have tinchy ones too for petit four and then regular fairy cake sizes too.
