Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Boarders,

I have a Nokia N95 8G , which I think is fabulous - but tonight the screen cracked when in my coat pocket. Now its completely blank.

I love my phone - how /where can I fix it - and how long / much does it take?

    PLEASE HELP

Hey DFS, That is so unlucky. You should be able to get it repaired in your local nokia service centre but that way is costly. Where abouts are you based?.

Seeing as its under warranty, your local Nokia Store or the MPRC in Sandyford will repair it for free...

Although maybe not, seeing as you were negligent.

not under warranty as I bought in the States in Nov. Will they still fix it in Sandyford - How much is it likely to cost!

Hi. Mate of mine had the same thing happen to his 8GB. The Mobile Phone Repair Company (MPRC) took on the job but "Mick" didn't have insurance! Total cost to him was €120(CPW employee) but I believe it could be as high as €170.
If you check out www.mobilefun.co.uk you can buy the necessary tools and screen replacement & try it yourself, but there's not much of a saving to be made

The above is correct, it is virtually impossible to get a cracked screen repaired under warranty because an impact is generally the cause.

You could also try the telephone centre on Dawson St if you wanted a second quote.
