Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dunne only cut his leg apparently. 9 stitches.

Bright start by Arsenal, Adebayor missed a golden opportunity to make it 1-0.

Spurs dominated West Ham here, lovely stuff.

Spurs really have a great first 11, they really play some nice stuff. Still think they are up their with the top 4, if they could just get a run going properly.

Hutton just made an absolutely lovely cross onto Bent's head, Spurs 4-0. Always fun to watch :)

1621: "If anything, West Ham are doing slightly better without Luis Boa Morte but Tottenham are still creating plenty of chances. The Hammers fans are singing '4-0. We're going to lose 4-0'."

    spooky ;)

I tell ya, Arsenal are playing on a rugby pitch in every sense of the word. Surely there must be regulations in place for this sort of thing

Michael Brown stands on Flamini's stomach... it was accidental, honest.

West Ham 12 goals in 3 games without scoring thats relegation form! Pity is they have 40 points.

    Mike.

What game are you watching Kjacl :)

Flamini could have went for that.

Almunia just got a huge whack from Gallas. GOt up instantly. I'd wager you any amount of money, that if any keeper in the league collided with an opposition player in that way, including Almunia, they'd be on the ground for 5 minutes. And people wonder why so people hate football

I can't decide if I should get optimistic about this game. Arsenal still look like they could score at will if they could just decide they'd like to :)

Bit of pressure from Wigan, good to see. Let's hope they can do something here :)

At the point, I meant Wigan weren't playing :)

Van Persie coming on on this pitch can't be the best idea.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,046 ✭✭✭eZe^

Toure and RVP on, not bad players to have on the bench... :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Ok, I'm gona say I'm starting to think that there might be the tiniest chance that Wigan can get something here, but I'm still expecting Arsenal to win this, so no internet jinx please.

That said, even if Wigan lose, they really put in a great performance here today, not just cause the pitch was crap, but they hurried and hassled Arsenal non-stop, Reminds me of them when they first came up, played with no fear.

I tell ya, I'm happy that the real Van Persie isn't back, cause I think he'd have scored twice already :)

Ah, the poor Hammers. What's the PL record of consecutive 4-0 defeats? :)

Holy ****, Kirkland makes a fantastic save, Fabregas should have done better.

Ok, injury time, 4 minutes. Crikey :)
Think Arsenal might do it though :/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Wooohooo! What a great result for United :)

Phew a valiant point for Wigan. They leap frog Newcaslte.

    Mike.

Newcastle just keep dropping places :P

3 draws in a row for Arsenal! 2 points ahead, with a game less played. United certain to go in front of them when they play Derby, then will play the catch up game against Bolton.

If I was given the option of either getting knocked out of the fa cup, or arsenal dropping points(would of liked both but meh) I would of picked arsenal dropping points so good weekend :)

chelsea fan?! where you been hiding!

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭OPENROAD

Two points dropped today, we did not look very sharp and lack of wide right player hindered us today. Man Utd will obviously beat Derby and most likely Bolton, although you never know,so Utd likely to be a coule of points clear. Good thing for us today is RVP is back though he will need a few games to get his sharpness back. Still expect the Premiership to go right down to the end, I know Chelsea have a couple of games in hand, but stillthink it will come down to Arsenal and Man utd.
