Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Dave of UCD has started a discussion over on climbing.ie about how things are going with their wall. He's asked everyone to bring this to the attention of full members of UCD who mightn't read the climbing.ie forums.

    You'll find the discussion here: http://www.climbing.ie/smf/index.php?topic=1331.msg4779#msg4779

    <ahem!/>

    Discuss away on this thread too if you want to, full members or otherwise. In fact let yourselves run free on this one! UCD aren't involved here so your pretty much free to say what you want about them.

    Personally I think the new routes are good, maybe a few more at the upper end of the scale but all round they're great.

    The bouldering wall could do with a few more postive holds, but not too many. Bouldering is meant to be hard but a few good holds would help get people's strength up and allow them to progress. Too many and it would defeat the purpose of the wall.

    well iv already expressed my love for the new wall here a in january.

    but i do like the idea of re-routing the wall 3 times a year that would be great for keeping the interest up!

    and putting extra panels in is great too! dont really do much on the bouldering wall except a bit of warming up so i cant comment on that.
