No. Plenty of people wear black. I don't wear gothy black clothes, just general black. Most of the time they're quite modern, fashionable dresses/outfits. I would only think someone looked gothy if they had corsets and goth-style stuff on. Not just because they wore black.

Also, people think I wear pale makeup to make myself look paler but I just wear makeup that matches my skin tone. If I didn't, I'd look orange. However, I actually had a taxi driver once tell me I'd look better if I rubbed "that white sh!t" off my face. I then showed him my white arms and explained that my makeup was called "Porceline".....

I've never understood the appeal of trying to look like you've been working in the fields all day.

Pale skin all the way please... doesn't have to be associated with any particular music or lifestyle... in the same way that I have long hair but don't actually listen to any 'heavy' music....
