Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hey
my brother bought a dell inspiron laptop that came with Vista installed, hes gone back to xp and doesnt plan on using Vista on it in the future. A Vista Basic reinstallation disc came with the laptop and my brother wanted to know if he could sell it or does it only work on his laptop ?

The windows license that came with that laptop can only be used with that laptop.

You can't sell any Microsoft OEM licenses
there is an ongoing legal battle over re-selling select licenses.
the only thing your brothe could have done was to try for a windows refund, wiht photographiv evidence of him saying NO to the initial license agreement

if it was vista business then that license allows you to use XP pro
if it was vista home then XP would need it's own non-oem license
