There was a banner advert that was not safe for work that appeared at the top of the page that linked to some porn site. Banner contained fat naked women exposing all. What's all this about?

Google ads have a tendancy to do some weird ****e, basing what ad they display on the page content but that just sounds weird. I wouldnt think theyd have NSFW ads.

Funniest I saw was: I was reading a news article about a panther that died from a flesh eating virus in california: google ads was advertising books on amazon: How To Survive a Zombie Plague Apocalypse :)

Hmmm, really interesting post history there, OP, including your pics in BGRH ... you have very strong opinions about so many things for one so young, admirable!!

'S'funny, you remind me of someone, but I can't quite put my finger on who ...

    Google don't do porn adverts.

What is more likely is you were surfing fat porn or a dodgy site without any browser protection and the advert was injected into the banner area.

At the very least you should be running a virus/spyware checker.

We should start a Google Ad Watch thread.

Best one i saw was for illicitencounters.com - advertising married but cheating people - on the Weddings Forum Page!!

Well, just looking at the Gerry Ryan Marriage thread on Celeb & Showbiz forum.

Google ad on page is "Wife. Hundreds of photos to choose from"

Strictly speaking the ads themselves are text - click the link and you get yer pron!

It could be worse, imagine if we had banner ads for M*D gigs or are they automagically blocked?
