What's the most distinctive/evocative riff/hook in a song you can think of:

Off the top of my head i'm thinking of:
    1) the intro to Sweet Child O' Mine by GNR
    2) the intro to Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode
    3) Whole lotta Love by Led Zeppelin

    What are your favourites?

Would 'Superstition' by Stevie Wonder qualify?

Played on synth, not a guitar, but still a riff in my book,

    and 'Seven Nation Army'.
