Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My nana has the 6300 (bad selling point to you perhaps but she uses her phone more then I nearly). Very good phone IMO. Looks great, nice simple design finished off nicely. Its slim, which i like, lightweight and easy to use (an 86 year old can use it). Ive no experience with the other nokia but for the money and the look, id defo have the 6300.
Id gladly have one... if I didnt have a HTC touch cruise. Seriously though, i like that phone.

PS. If you do get the 6300, and happen to drop it in a cup of tea, dont tell your service provider that. :p

I used the 6233 up until a few months ago and never had any problems with it. Lovely phone altogether. Easy to use, plenty of functionality, and no issues on screen resolution really, far better than most phones. 2 megapixel camera could certainly be higher, but it takes better pics than any other 2 megapixels I've used.

As for the 6300, from what I've seen of it, it's almost exactly the same phone only thinner. If 3G isn't that important to you, then go for the 6300, it's a lot lighter.

I'm on my second 6300 (with Vodafone). I left my first one behind in a taxi never to be found again.

Never had any of the issues mentioned on boards with the phone and I'd be a very heavy mobile user. It's never rebooted itself and don't have any issue with battery life.

Two thumbs up for the 6300 here.

6233 has same resolution as 6300, both QVGA, the difference is in the colour (16million v's 256k) which you cannot perceive. I'd take the 6233 as the battery life is significantly longer when you switch it to EDGE only.

Also, 6233 can record video in VGA whereas its 176x144 with the 6300.

I got a 5310 yesterday lovely looking phone very slim nice features great design (camera sh1te like all Nokia 2mp) but just like the last 3 Nokias I've bought the bloody thing keeps restarting itself. That's it I'm officially sick to the teeth of Nokia. I'll be marching into CPW Tuesday with it to change it for a Sony Ericsson.

Yeah just tried it this morning - seems to have fixed the problem but I haven't used it that much to test it out - I hope it's OK I really like the phone (even though it's a Nokia:D).
I got it on Meteor upgrade for €49 so it's sim free thankfully.
I've got to say the sound quality on the MP3 player is excellent although it's a bit fiddly to use - this is coming from an iPod owner - the built in speaker is also one of the best I've heard on any phone the sound is crystal clear from it.

Just to follow up - the firmware update seems to have done the trick no problems so far - battery life doesn't seem to be great hardly 2 days mind you I've been using the MP3 player a bit in the car.
It's weird I've had a lot of different phones in the past year or so but this phone really seems to catch people's eye - I've had loads of people wanting to check it out today.
