Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I seem to get all the nice jobs in the office:rolleyes:

I have a MS Word doc that i need to protect that I can send out, so that people can read and print but not copy paste or modify. Thats easy but I have embedded files that I need people to be able to open and do the same. Is there away to unprotect just the embedded documents?

One Viscous circle. Any help would be great, if MS Office 2007 has this capability I can get it done through that if needs be. Cheers.

pdf it and apply security there
pdfcreator on sourceforge is free - print the doc to it
IIRC there were pdf's with blacked out text that could easily be revealed so print as graphic is worth looking at - at worst you'd open the pdf in acrobat and then reprint as graphic

historically word documents have been a disaster for leaking info don't know about 2007 but earlier versions all you had to do was save as to get a new editable document.
