Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering if anyone here has ever been to the exclusion zone around the Chernobyl power plant? Ive wanted to see Pripyat since i first heard about the infamous dead city, there are tours that go from Kiev to pripyat for 60 odd euro. But to be honest i wouldnt know where to begin. Ive looked on pripyat.com forums, they arrange trips to the zone once a month or so. Tbh id be a bit wary going somewhere like that on my own, id be afraid of waking up in a bathtub sans kidneys. Anyone ever been to kiev or pripyat??

I reckon you are like me, a person who likes to dabble with a new coin phrase "dark tourism", which involves visiting places with tragic histories like ground zero, Auschwitz etc.

Unfortunetly I dont know anything about it, but its sometinhg Id love to do in a few years time, if its safe enough.
