Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

1 red light on xbox

My friend got 1 red light on the bottom right side of his xbox 360 premium today. Apparently it means a hardware failure. He has had it for a year and a month. He rang up microsoft and they said they cant do anything, that he will have to pay €70 for it to be repaired. Is this really his only option?

He could always hot box the machine until it has 3 red rings. A hardware fault is a hardware fault so what does he have to lose.

John Davidson from 1up had a blog entry a while back about his children accidently running his 360 and his PS3 in a closed entertainment centre. The 360 red ringed in a few hours.

You can get 1 red light if the AV cable is not plugged in correctly. Check that first.

Turn off the console and on-again, (a few times if necessary) should be gone then, i sometimes get this with error 74 coming up on the screen.
