Limerick has highest level of killings and gun crime

http://www.breakingnews.ie/ireland/mhojcwojqlkf/ It makes for sad reading. This city now has the highest level of murders per head of population than any other city in Ireland. If this is isn't a wake up call as to how bad things have gotten here I don't know what is.

I fail to see how people defending the name of their city is 'part of the problem'. Its been asked already and nobody answered, but how do you propose that people solve the problem by admitting there is a problem with scumbags in the city? That wont lobby the politicians, nor will it get more guards on the street nor will it cause vigilante groups to form to kick the scum out.

The reality is, people are indifferent towards one another. That goes for everybody, no matter what city they are in. Limerick is a microcosm of the rest of Ireland. There is a large middle class, a relatively small upper class and a large working class. You see in Limerick, what you see in Ireland on a national scale. There is no magic fix for the problems in the city.
