So Laois is like south portarlington???:p

hahahahaha my old man is from Portarlington and we always argue as to what county his old family home is in. I say Offaly (just so I can call him a "biffo" ) and he claims its Laois. Its lead to countless arguments over the years.

Here does anybody know the name of a really sound out bar man in The Anvil.
Im pretty sure he's the bar manager. Kinda of a chirpy/happy/chatty guy. I lived in port for 6 months last year and used to take a stroll down to watch the footie on a tuesday night. Very funny guy, he used to love pissing off the Man U fans by turning over to the arsenal matches whenever arsenal scored.

yeah if its a nice evening that would be the best i think, i think the bar mans name is eoin coffey, his father owns the pub i think.. oh by the way portarlington is in laois and dont let anyone tell you any different ok;)

Beer garden sounds good. but i'm not going to commit to anything just yet.

Would recommend After Dark beer garden. Since it's out the front we could show other boardies hoow much fun we have. :cool:

Can I just check something when you say 'nice beer garden'....do you mean the aluminium chairs and tables outside on the pavement in the pollution???? Or have I been missing a nice beer garden with hanging baskets and naked men with big fans and things???????
