Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi there, can anyone give me some pointers on which they found the best option. We live in Dublin and the project is in Wexford. It is 2 hours door to door, at the right time so it would be possible to do the job with direct labour but is there any real saving ? does anyone know what is the going rate to completed job (up to painted interior stage) per sq ft?

Last question, part of the job will entail renovating the original cottage, raising the roof and knocking out the interior walls and floors, (and putting in ring beam, dpc and underpinning. Has anyone done a similar job and if so what should this cost in comparison to the new build part?

    thanks for the help.

I was in a similar situation, based in Dublin and build in Wexford. 1 hour 10 min door to door, presume you are in south Wexford, we are in North Wexford. We used direct labour and have some useful contacts should you require. General all round builder, a first fix chippy (roofs mainly), 2 nd fix chippy, a plasterer . Would have no hesitation in recommending them. Our project went very smoothly, it was new build. Hoping to come in at under €100 sq ft for fully finished, ie turn key job.
