Irish Xball League

The IXL is the first paintball league of its kind in Ireland. The 2008 season will see 5 Irish teams compete against each other. The league runs from March through till July and consists of five events. All the events will be hosted by Barrage Paintball and presented by the IPPA.
Please feel free to come down and experience this new sport that is taking Ireland by Storm. Admission to the events is free and there will be opportunities to meet the players and to try it out for your self.

The IXL's first event is set for the 15th of March at Barrage Paintball, Puddenhill Activity Centre Garristown, Co. Meath. Directions can be found here.

We hope that you can make it down to see the evolution of Irish paintball. No doubt if the weather holds up it will be a very enjoyable day for the whole family with a full bar and resturant with carvery on site.

At the moment the teams are locked for the 2008 season. You can enter next year though. Alternatively you can play for the wildcard team, go to paintballer.ie for more info.

What's your team? Where are you based out of? Too late to register for the IXL but I'm sure we can always arrange a few friendly matches or something

Congrats to Escarmouche from Northern Ireland whom won the 2nd IXL Event - The Spring Cup. Dublin Based Risk Factor came second followed by Dublin Reapers and then the Wildcards.
