I live on the Dunmore Road and know Uluru very well. I just dont understand the hype about that place. It is a decent pub but it is talked about in Waterford as some sort of place all other pubs should aspire to. The staff are decent and it is a nice premises in a key location but there are lots of other negatives such as,…

id never judge a pub by its food service,the pub is for drinking at the end of the day.

maybe if they got rid of ricky walen the place might improve somewhat,i think everyone is just fed up of him at this stage.

agreed its usless to watch a match,theres a big projector screen in oscars for matches but the atmosphere is non existent.

for anyone watching the racing on a saturday havin a few bets and a few pints at the same time its the ideal location with boylesports beside it.

I know in the night time that Rick Whelan is a bit of a fool but at least theres a bit of atmosphere there compared to across the road in The Cove which is like a morgue tbh.
