    Brilliant :D

    "I'm not you friend, buddy!"
    "I'm not your buddy, guy!"
    "I'm not your guy, friend!"

    Quality!

Oh and I <3 the Butters song :pac:

Great episode! Probably the best so far.

How many are there in this season? Is it 7 - 7 again?
Oh and I <3 the Butters song :pac:

Meh, I thought it was a very weak episode all 'round. Focussed on the Internet memes far too much in the middle, it felt gimmicky to me.

<useless fact> I'm pretty sure that the Canadian strike leader is a caricature of current Canadian PM Stephen Harper. </useless fact>

Loved this episode as well, the best one of this season definitely, and one of the better of the last few seasons.

    Canadians - good
    Internet memes - great
    Butters' song - amazing!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,584 ✭✭✭✭Creamy Goodness

    best episode since warcraft.

    it had everything,

    butters
    terrance and phillip
    canadians
    tron man
    family guy

they were on ****ing fire with this episode as it actually had a good story.

They were blessedly unsubtle using "WGA" weren't they? :)
The "I've learnt something today" piece at the end was great too and I presume done in light of them just launching their entire catalogue for free.

Back on form with that episode :)

Hilarious episode. The fight scene was a work of genius. "My... brains!".
Another example of how South Park can really hit home when they tackle relevant, well-known issues.

Two great episodes in a row. My favourite moments...

"It's run on natural gas" - quality terence and phillip

The chocalate rain guy was hilarious.

    The Bennigans tokens.

    The song

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,713 ✭✭✭✭jor el

World Canadian Bureau, the WGA. That's just class. And then Terrance and Philip not wanting to be part of it, wonder who they represent?

I haven't seen so much "I know that" in South Park since the WOW episode. That was fcuking hilarious.

    internet-dont_worry_tron.jpg
Tay Zonday, leave <insert name> alone guy, that Romanian song, the baby. I'm still laughing.

They should really have had this episode in the middle of the strike, but I guess they were probably writing it at the time. Would have made a brilliant opening episode to the new season.

south park episodes are written from wed-friday, made on sat-tuesday shown on wednesday, the whole writing and making to airing process lasts 7 days.

ohh someone mentioned how many episodes are in this season. it is 14, but they split it up and have 7 episodes then take a break until october and have seven more.

Thought it was average enough. Couldn't help but think that they are running out of things to parody

Yeah, I watched it a second time and I couldn't believe how slow I was for not picking this up first time around!

    Another dud episode this season.

Southpark have become an exaggerated cliché of themselves.

    Another great episode.

4/5 decent episodes so far isn't bad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,584 ✭✭✭✭Creamy Goodness

alright episode, what were they taking the piss out of with cartman?

also the best thing happened since the start of season 9.

mr.garrisson is back, about fecking time he was awful as a woman.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,589 ✭✭✭✭Necronomicon

    Some very good moments. Particularly
the penis singing at the moon
    .

Agreed about Mr. Garrison, glad he's back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,837 ✭✭✭abelard

Thought this weeks one was the worst of the season so far.

The arc with Cartman was ok enough. If I had any clue about the background of that American footballer he was talking about I might have found it funnier.

The Mr Garrison arc was pretty bad. Didn't really find the penis thing funny at all. The only real laugh I got out of the episode was the audacity of his comment to the other teacher at the very end.

Agreed though that he's better as a man!

ahh thanks makes a bit more sense now.

i agree i didn't find the penis part that funny, it was hilarious for the first 10 seconds to see this little stump on a lab rat then it just got stupid, especially with the women going eek, it's a penis just thought it felt a little forced.

    Decent episode, not great.
    Singing penis
was funny, and some other good bits, but definitely not as good as last week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,426 ✭✭✭Roar

i quite enjoyed it. being an NFL fan and patriots hater i quite enjoyed all the "billlll-eeee-check" references..

i only saw the cat pee episode last night, i thought it was complete and utter genius.. i laughed almost from start to finish, superb episode..

Cartman as Edward James Olmos? :)

You'll appreciate it more if you've seen Stand and Deliver

Heh another great episode. Always seems they are on fire when they are nerding it up. Loved the Grapes of Wrath parody.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,589 ✭✭✭✭Necronomicon

Decent episode. I knew I'd like it when I saw Randy in the screen-shot!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,426 ✭✭✭Roar

i loved it. any randy heavy episode is usually gold.

    the simulator scene was inspired

It sure was. Where do they come up with this stuff?

Very good episode, which is strange for a completely Cartman free one. I guess it must be Randy. I liked the speech at the end, very "On deadly ground", even the Native American dress he was wearing.

Wonderful episode that I was watching with a reduced screen and checking Boards.ie at the same time until Randy told me to stop !

Thought it was a good epsiode, the butters stuff was great (my god he's strong), and I loved how into their characters the townsfolk were. Robbing the burger king was funny too (the bit were he flips through the burger was genius). Was the leader of the terrorists supposed to be Hans from die hard?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,966 ✭✭✭GhostInTheRuins

It was good, not great. The absolutely funniest part was the very, very end.

Far from being the greatest episode of all time I did enjoy this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,206 ✭✭✭gustavo

Good ep , one of the better ones so far , I loved the "not breaking character" concept so they got a lot of laughs out of that, Also loved when Cartman realised it was just Butters left and the little curtsy thing Butters did was funny:D

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Arts Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Entertainment Moderators Posts: 29,752 CMod ✭✭✭✭johnny_ultimate

Enjoyable episode, but nothing special. Not very funny though - robbing Burger King was the best bit. Probably could have done more with the Die Hard parody.

Ok episode, was gonna be a hard act to follow from the last episode though! The head villian scrambling around for the two dollars and the whopper at the end was funny.
