    I got a quote from a builder recently and it is very reasonable, the details of it are below - my question is - is there anything blatantly missing in the quote. I am looking for a contractor to do the house to the builders finish.


    Homebond Registrations
    675mm Rising Walls
    Radon Barrier and 1 no. Radon Sump
    Floor, Wall and ceiling insulations in accordance with current building regulations
    15 No. Radiators with internal oil fired boiler
    Oil Tank & Plinth for same
    Electrical PC Sum of €7300 inclusive of VAT
    Brown PVC Fascia & Soffit
    White Double Glazed PVC windows & external doors
    Cast in situ chimney Caps to design as shown on drawings
    4 or 6 Panel Red Deal Doors internally
    OG Red deal skirting & architrave

    licensed waste removals
    foundations spec
    insulation - define better than "comply with regs"
    external wall spec
    boiler min 86% efficient
    3 min heating zones - 1 DHW 2 . daytime areas 3. night time areas
    glazing look for 1.4 min u value - ( b regs min is 2.0 low e glass)
    plumbing to sanitary s ( even if you provide them )
    attendances on client supplied items ( if you want him there when they go in )

    payments schedule
    retention
    programme
    decision required dates ( eg "pick your kitchen by X date or you will delay me" dates )
