    No need for pc1066 pc6400 can overclock just aswell. As for the cpu, is it maily gaming ? If so a fast dual core will do, if you multi task alot then a quad will come in handy.

    yea it would be mainly for gaming. will pc6400 ram be good enough for gaming?

    Jesus yeah, im running 6400 and i have it clocked to 1100mhz up from 800mhz with just a bit more voltage and tighter then standard timings :)

    i had adate extreme ram before it went belly up which is reason im upgrading (no idea why happened pc wasnt overclocked) its normal speed think was 1000 with timings of 5-5-5-15 so with pc3 6400 would performance be a bit below that even overclocked as is ddr3? The motherboard supports up to 1800 so was thinking with it being ddr3 and having higher timings would have to compensate with higher frequencies?

    Would they be good value for that price? I will be heading over to germany at end of the month so will pick them up over there just mean are them components good value in general
