Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

mauro picotto, whats he playin these days?

    just wondering was anyone at planetlove winter session, or seen picotto lately, what kind of sets is he playing? hes in cork on the 14th, and im thinking of going, but i saw him around this time last year and he wasnt brilliant, like he should have been playing in the back room,

    ..ill probably end up going anyway

    a couple of mates saw him in tripod i think it was a while back, said he was brutal.

    saw him myself a few years ago in the point - swore i'd never pay to see him again he was so bad.

    I unfortunately saw him at Christmas just gone, (wasn't my choice) and he was crap. Terrible tune selection with no flow to the set at all and his mixing... Bizzarely he played a few good techno tunes but they were isolated blips within the trance onslaught. Needless to say I legged it early!

    Incredibly frustrating that the likes of yourself hear about these gigs, and not the good ones.

    Dj bone's in cork this weekend - much more worth being excited about

    just looked him up, (www.dj-bone.com) playin at the liquid lounge sunday, found this youtube of him there last year, love the comment under it.

    might end up going to both, picotto's in the savoy on friday, havnt been there in a while, but i think theres usually another dj playing in the foyer

    I know someone who seen him play a while back as well and he also said he was brutal, played boring minimal type techno more suited to monging out than a club.:confused:

    I went to see him at Meganite in Privelage last year....brutal, the set literally went nowhere, he was more concerned about drinking champagne with about 15 or so people behind the decks, its all well and good having a bit of craic in the Dj box the odd time but only if the crowd is on the same buzz, half the people had fukd off by the time his set was over!
