Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No worries, look forward to seeing you back in the bar. :)

Btw, you do know that you can log out and then view BGRH, don't you? Obviously you won't be able to post there, but if you're just looking for something you can still find it.

i see Al recommended Kings of Leon to you, I have to second that. They're the best band Ive heard in quite sometime. I say that cos i only really got into them a few months ago and they've really captured something unique. their song "Trani" was described by Bob Dylan as one of the best songs he;d ever heard and Eddie Vedder of Pearl jam is also a huge fan. So dont take it from me and Al, take it from them! If u want me to recommend some specific songs to get u started just ask.

**** Eddie Vedder. that fella has done nothing but piss me off the last few years-me and him still have issues so ignore him GuanYin. He has no respect for GREAT artists.
Bob Dylan-meh, yea he is amazing. But **** those recommendations Mr Alans seal of approval means a hell of a lot more than those lads

    Kings of Leon = fantastic.

*Except they play a few songs a little too fast live*

    GREAT SONG ALERT!:

Ingore and Delija in same sentence,i dont like how that sounds....

    Step a side young man

    *smack*

Ok now i can continue posting in peace

    :D:D:D

Usually i would say that anyt threatening ElCucho was not cool, but this post kicked ass :D

lad should learn a bit of respect for the Spanish nation ;)

    excellent stuff altogether.

I refered to myelf in the third person a few times.

Al...I can call you Al right?

Anywho, avoid Tolka Park like the plague....make yourself seen at Richmond Road....Dalymount, or somehow Turners Cross.

I think its best the date is not going ahead, for the future of Mr Alan and the Eircom League.

Oh and Al when and where does your band be?

    A verbal contract is binding.

Seeing as Al's is also in text on the internet then it's probably even more so.

Get the boat, I was referring to the Jolly Swagman(Xavi=Australian) Oh and Xavi I don't care if that wasn't funny, it brings me joy to label any Australian with something associated with the country.

I'll put it up within the next week have to get a swastika tattoed on my forehead before hand though.

I realise that no females on boards.ie talk to me at all. Even Irishbird and corcaigcolleen. :(

Maybe it is because I'm not Irish!

I was in Bray tonight after the Drogheda game, and I must say the hot Spanish ladies(ok they are girls) were out in force. I was all ready to make a sweeping move until I realised I have no confidence or charisma. Retreated back to standing beside my parents making fun of fat knacker children.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 22,868 Mod ✭✭✭✭Bounty Hunter

Estie (can only Al call you that) what age are you? had always imagined you being atleast 20's for some reason (not that I imagine you much) but retreating to your parents without confidence infront of the foreign ladies and Bebo tut tut ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,372 ✭✭✭✭Mr Alan

he is 17. but he has the comedic timing and general wisdom of a much older, wiser person

and actually, des coined Estie, i prefer El Cucho.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 22,868 Mod ✭✭✭✭Bounty Hunter

ah 17 aint bad, not that being young is bad. Estie writes like an adult though and I think I just associate Bebo with kids as all the little fellows i teach are always asking do I have a bebo.

think id not remember el cucho as easily though tis the players nick iirc

I think Al thought the same about my age. Maby its the high quality of my posts, and brilliant knowledge of the game. Once again... :D
