Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i found it overrated personally, and very flawed in places. worth a look though.

I enjoyed it a lot Al. Very dark and at times disturbing but its very good. 3 films in a weekend for me and Michale Caine was in all of them!

So what do we think? I'm a big fan of Miss Dublin North. An ex of mine is in there too but I'm not saying which one it is!

At a look Im guessing your ex was miss Dublin west considering where u used to live (Come home Xavi - we miss you!:P)

Funny, I know Miss Dublin Central. She lives near me, and I dont live in Dublin Central! Havent talked to her in years actually but I know her brother pretty well.

I haven't looked at the site cause i'm in work but i kinda know Miss Armagh. She's friends with a girl i used to work with.
They were down at the 'Miiss whatever' competition a few weeks ago i think.

Went to the Zoo yesterday. Weather was class. Drive back to Dundalk in the back of a coupe was not so enjoyable especially with the fish & chip tea turning my stomach.

Not in yet in fact. This is my week of 'late' cover. 11-8. Its grand cos the lie in a got this morning was well called for after the feed of cider I drank sittin out the back all afternoon yesterday.

My arms are now suitably supporting my county too.

Hmmm, Im nearly 2 hours into my working day. The highlight of my day today wil be going to the gym after work before a night of study!

Goin to Thailand for a week for New Years to compensate for the lack of a summer holiday!! :D:pac:

If you dont mind me asking, is it worth going there for just a week. Booked a week off at the end of Sept and don't want to go to Spain / Lanzarote etc but i would like somewhere hot so prob not Europe.

I've been there before but just think the flight would be a killer for a week's hols.

    Did you book it yet?

Last time I was there we made friends with 2 English guys who were over for a week and they loved it. Im planning on just keeping going and crashing when I get back here!! The plan is to fly into Bangkok and fly straight down to Koh Samui and get straight into it. Catch New Years on Hah Riin in Koh Phangan, and come back up to Banmgkok via Samui. Splash and dash job but it'll be great, sun hol in the height of winter!!

The flight will be a b1tch but if u take a sleeping tab and sleep during a flight it lessens the effect Ive found.

Havent booked yet as we're deciding on numbers, Ive made up my mind, waiting on a few of the other lads. Hopefully have it booked and all in the next 2-3 weeks.

In the cinema they had meals for kids and the top of the drink was like the top on a coffee cup but with a batman statue protruding from it.
I asked the beatch behind the counter could i have it on my drink. She looked at me like i had shit on my face and wouldn't give me one.
This probably just evened things up with me and her though cause i ate half my pick 'n' mix in the queue..

So u went back in this week!

Speaking of films. Did anyone who went to TDK see the trailer for Quantum of Solace? It looks amazing. I really wasnt a big Bond fan anymore before "Casino Royale", thought it had lost the plot, too much like a spoof movie, but now I cant wait for the new one.

but you will have to buy a kiddie meal and you cant get TDK special in the kiddies meals

Speaking of Batman objects of desire, someone on the film board posted a really cool 3D poster that was available. Must go find the link.

    Edit: Here it is http://www.syndime.com/Batman.html

There wasn't any Bond trailer in the showing I saw. Although there was a trailer for the new Ben Stiller movie "Tropic Thunder" which looks absolutely hilarious. Robert Downey Jr. and Jack Black are in it as well.
