Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This will be the first weekend since I have finished my thesis. I am getting absolutely plastered!! Might just have a 3 day bender starting tomorrow if any of the boys are up for all day drinking.

Anyone else in Dublin finding it hot as fook at night lately. Could really do with an AC unit in my room at the moment.

Don't know what it is, but round Clontarf there isn't a breeze for love nor money. Coupled with the fact that I have a 32' LCD, a PS3, Sky, and a laptop all running in the room, the place feels like a bloody furnace.

If I were out in Oz, or even back in New York or Canada, I could justify buying an AC. But if Ibought one over here, I would be getting queer looks left right an center, and I probably use it all of 2 days out of a year.

When it was 30+ in Oz I used to just go to the cinema. The Melbourne Casino cinema used to have AC that would freeze hell. It was magical. You'd come back outside into the heat and it'd be like the feeling you get when you open an oven door - just a wall of dead, dry, hot air.

Tonight will be quiet enough - few tinnies and the xbox for a game of fifa I reckon.

Tomorrow night I'm hosting a poker night, so will again have a few tinnies and then maybe out for a couple of pints afterwards, we'll see how it goes.

I'm going to italy in a couple of weeks and my credit card bill this month was larger than my paycheck I got in my account today. Hard times indeed.
