Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    [rant]

So every day I go for lunch in one of the delies around work. I mix it up depending on what I'm in the mood for. Anyway, I'm quite a fussy eater. Basically I eat nothing but meat and cheese so my order goes something like this -

Me - "Can I've a long white roll please?"
    Her - "Butter?"
    Me - "Yes please"
Her - "Ok what would you like?"
Me - "Just chicken and grated cheese please"
    Her - "Salad?"
    Me - "No thanks"
    Her (puzzled look) - 'Mayonnaise?"
    Me - "No thanks"
    Her (astonished look) - "Salt/pepper?"
    Me - "No thanks"
Her (disapproving look) - "Cut in half?"
    Me - "No thanks"
Her (disgusted at this stage) - $5.40

Now what the f*ck is with all the faces? I don't like that sh*te on my sandwich. Every day I'm made feel small by some poxy deli worker just because I don't want their bloody rabbit food tarnishing my roll. The Subway crew actually look at me like I've got ten heads. Plus every time I ask for a 'white' roll in there I get a f*cking 'wheat' one cause they don't understand me! Aaaaarrrrggh!

To make things worse, they keep the utensils of the deli sitting in the lettuce bowl so when they cut the roll I get little pieces of grass stuck in amongst my cheese. If I wanted f*cking lettuce I'd have f*cking asked for it!

Anyway, it's Friday, where's the pub?

I'm exactly the same. I don't eat any of the 'extras' that are used to pad out the ol John Rambo's.. I always have to ask in a takeaway for a burger with no onions or just ketchup please.
In Sydney i went to a takeaway and asked for a cheese burger with no dressing, just ketchup and the idiot said "no cheese on it??". I had to explain to him that i considered cheese to be one of the fundamental items that make up the cheese burger along with the burger and the bread...

I go to a coffee shop near where i work (in de nort..) and they do a delicious triple decker hot beef sambo. But when i order it, i say, "Hot beef triple, just butter and cheese, nothing else thank you".
To which they reply and also write on their notepad, "no onion? no mayo? no tomato? no lettuce? no mustard?" Makes me want to hit someone.

A work colleague didn't believe me that this was how mu friday lunchtime conversations go and had to come and witness it himself. Right on cue the waitress proceeded to list everything i didnt want instead of just writing the 2 items i did want.

I feel your pain brother. The people I go to lunch with in work piss themselves laughing every day when I go to order. Bastards.

Ok, does anyone bloody remember Richard Blackwood on mtv? Hahahahahah, they just showed his old song on MTV as one of the worst songs ever. What a man, loved him as a child, he was the English version of Will Smith, until he literally disappeared off the edge of the world. Turns out he went super super bankrupt. :p:p:p:D:D:D

I never liked that tool. Used to piss me off every day when I got home from school and flicked on Select. Plus they only ever played half of the feckin song.

Donna Air wrecked my head as well. Actually did Select ever have any decent presenters (Kelly Brook aside obviously)? Our Emma Ledden wasn't bad but in general they were all sh*te.
