Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How is that tooth btw Des? Did you get any sleep?

took a couple of ponstan, and fell asleep with no pain.

No pain this morning, but it's starting to get sore again.

I can feel the fecking thing pushing my other tooth out of the way too.

Good. At least you have something you know will buy you those precious hours of sleep. As fighting a toothache the day after a sleepless night is torture.

Sounds like an impacted wisdom tooth (coming in at a wrong angle). I think those usually have to be pulled.

Last time it was giving me trouble, I went to the dentist and she took an x-ray of my mouth.

She said that the wisdom tooth giving me the hassle is the straightest tooth in my head, believe it or not. And that the one beside it is just a little off line, she said it didn't need to go.

If I can get through this for a few days, I'll go back to the dentist in the new year.

Feeling ur pain Des. I was at the dentist first thing this morning for 2 fillings.:(
Then to make matters worse, when i got to work we had buns in the office. Bummer.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Boards Beers is a bit lame? I don't want to sound like i'm dissing everyone, but it has no appeal whatsoever to me. I'd probably only meet people from obscure forums and not have a clue who anyone is. Have heard it is good, but i just don't see the attraction.
I can understand a Soccer forum beers cause it's a (fairly) small group of people posting regularly.

I've only got three wisdom teeth and none of them came down - they grew under my gum line stayed put.

Had to go a dentist a few months back because I was wanted to know why I hadn't had my wisdom teeth at 26 years old.

That sounds workable then. It might just be a case of riding the storm out for a few days.

This is what I have kinda of thought. You'd be lurching around for a few minutes no knowing anyone, and the first person you talk to is some mod of the mustard forum.

I've been to 4 of them. THe first one wasn't great because I practically didn't know any of them even in posting terms... All the others were really good because I met people that I'd had banter regularly in AH, BGRH, Noct etc.

Bird being my best mate??? Jaysis, you make me sound like Graham Norton.

I am a firm believer in the bros before hoes policy, so you'd have no worries.

    Anyways, in other news
A seven-year-old boy was at the centre of a London courtroom drama today when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.

The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, whom the boy firmly believes are incapable of beating anyone.

    :D
