Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Their plane got hit by lightning as it was taking off. Thought that was fairly interesting

Mine were away over the weekend too... happy days!

My plane got struck by lightening flying to Thailand. Apparently it happens a lot.

I know a girl who gets a new phone every single month cos she normaly loses them on nights out.

But yes I agree. I know most phone numbers off that Id use with any regularity tbh.

That is really annoying. I know every phone number that I regularly use off by heart. I have a good recall for numbers. Can remember phone numbers, bank acc number, social insurance number from years ago, and I used to work in a car dealers where all the parts are coded numerically.
Can’t remember to get milk in the evenings though, so I regularly have to skip breakfast.:o

I dunno how she describes herself, I just know I get regular enough group texts off her informing everyone of her new number!

I'd describe her as a muntered drunk myself, but thats just me!

Can anyone tell me what Top Top means when refered to the Jamie Knobknapp?

    Just Curious

She'd let ya in a heartbeat I'll say that much. As for whether you'd give it, well they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and as far as I behold I'd say that there isn't enough alcohol in the world! That's a nice way of saying not at all!

That's a Top Top question Bill.

The truth is nobody knows, scholars maintain the meaning was lost millenia ago..

I've got a super ser. My bedroom doesn't hold heat due to a combination of it being a 130 year old house and having 4 large windows you smell a fart through from the other side.

I figured I'd fire up the super ser again in an attempt to stall the onset of arthritis in my knuckles when using the PC.

One hour of intense physical training after being out for a month tonight.
    Even my hair hurts

I feel your pain brother. I was playing 5-a-side tonight and went in for a challenge - my knee cap and his came together at full force.

I jogged on like I didn't care but really I was crying a little inside. It's all lumpy now.

Went back to Muay-Thai last night after 2 weeks off training cos of the flu and alcohol abuse. First night back and we were doing bodyshot conditioning, my ribs and tummy are fairly tender today!

I picked up a few of the girls from work one night who were at a house party before a night out because I was finishing late and said I'd drop them into town and then follow them down.

I made sure I was playing Duality and started headbanging behind the wheel and going nuts. Needless to say I will not be on taxi duty for some time to come.

No it's all sweet. There was a suspicion she may have something but the surgery has confirmed that it's not there so all good in the hood.

Good to hear mate. Glad it worked out ok. Nothing worse really. Can imagine it wasn't an experience you'll look back on with any fondness.

I've to go for a blood test tomorrow morning. Been getting real short of breath the last while for no particular reason so now they're gonna draw blood to try find out why. Fckin HATE being anywhere near hospitals. And the OH works in said hospital. Dunno how she sticks it to be honest, hospitals suck the life outta me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,907 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Yeah I'm no fan of hospitals either. Within 5 minutes of being in there today the colour had gone from my face and I was feeling nautious. Same when I went to visit my mate a while back. Hate the places.

I've to go in for 8 in the bloody mornin. Only God knows how long I'll be waiting. I remember my Dad was in for a week one time and I was into him every day. I just remember the feeling of depression I had by the end of that week having been surrounded by such negativity all the time. Honestly dunno how anyone works as a nurse or otherwise. I'd lose my will to live.
