Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. feckin studying for the next hour :(

south park is absolute quality. gotten better and better over the years. "Good Times With Weapons" is still one of the best episodes.

very hard question actually - top 5 south park episodes ever

ill put mine up later... gotta work :pac:

    My Top 5:

    1) China Probrem
    2) Scott Tenorman Must Die
    3) Die Hippie, Die
    4) Make Love, Not Warcraft
    5) Over-Logging

As you can see their nearly all from the last few seasons. I do love the old episodes, I just think their getting better in their humour and the timing of their episodes..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,589 ✭✭✭✭Necronomicon

China Probrem number 1  Wouldn't be in my top 5, but I think most of mine would also be from recent seasons.

It was enjoyable, but I think there have been better this season. I couldn't help but feel deja vu with the Spielberg/Lucas combination (from a couple of seasons ago when they were taking the piss out out of the super special editions of movies with walkie talkies instead of guns :D )

Feck it, I can't do top 5. Here's my top 10 (not in order of favourites, I'd be here all night!):

    Over-logging (Season 12)
Night of the Living Homeless (Season 11)
Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy (Season 10)
Make Love, Not Warcraft (Season 10)
    Ginger Kids (Season 9)
    Awesom-o (Season 8)
Good Times With Weapons (Season 8)
Fat Butt and Pancake Head (Season 7)
Death Camp of Tolerance (Season 6)
Scott Tenorman Must Die (Season 5)

Holy crap, all this South Park talk and I forgot there was a new episode today. Yes! :D

Best South Park I ever saw was the one where all the 'Richers' moved into town and the locals started burning lower case t's in their garden's as it stood for 'Time to leave'. Genius.

Which was the one with Mr (Miss) Garrsson going to a bar called Les Bo's and all the persians come to kick them out.

D-Yikes. I left it out of my list with a heavy heart, fantastic episode. One of their best parodies IMO.

    Careful now.

My obvious favorite is the Towelie episode.

I also don't think I have ever laughed so hard at that naggers scene. Again the rich folk/racism one was brilliant. Brilliant parody of racism. Also the movie is brilliant, especially this bit

Mr. Mackey: Now each battalion has a specific code-name and mission. Battalion 5, raise your hands!
[all the African American members put up their hands including Chef]
Mr. Mackey: You will be the all important first defense wave, which we will call "Operation Human Shield".
    Chef: Hey, wait a minute...
Mr. Mackey: Now keep in mind, 'Operation Human Shield' will suffer heavy losses. But don't lose your spirit men! Stay until the bitter end. Battalion 14?
[all the White soldiers raise their hands]
Mr. Mackey: Right, you are 'Operation Get Behind The Darkies'. You will follow Battalion 5 here and try not to get killed for God's Sake. Are there any questions men?
    [Chef raises his hand]
    Mr. Mackey: Yes Soldier?
Chef: Have you ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?
    Mr. Mackey: I don't listen to hip-hop!
    Chef: Hey!

It most likely won't happen and I'll just end up watching the football tbh. I have to try though. Exams are looming..

I just give up the drink for exams (at least I used to),

You've more chance of getting me to sing You'll Never Walk Alone or run down O'Connell street in the buff than you have of getting me to study when I'm hungover. Then again i get stocious hangovers.

    How good of a chance?
To run down O'Connell Street in the nip while singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'?

Ah now here, diggin up fight predictions = lose.

Maybe stop over to the MMA forum for the next event and predict an entire event next time ;) THEN you have cause to point and laugh! And how was I to know Randy would finally show his age :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,212 ✭✭✭ITT-Pat

lol so are you saying that IF i do predict an entire event, you'll give up your modship?:p

No I'll just ban you! :P

It's easy to predict one fight. We do predictions for every UFC over there, callin them all is tough but it's good fun seein how ya do. I usually make a nice chunk o money out of betting on the UFC though.

For example, next event I'm betting on Nogueira over Mir, Silva over Rampage and Forrest over Rashad for an accumulator. Forrest v Rashad is the only one I'm not sure of but as of now thats my 3 way bet.

NOBODY predicts ALL 10 fights, if he did it then he's clearly involved in black magic and needs to be purged from our boards!!
