Every town's worst example of an accent is the worst in the world. I agree the scumbag Dundalk accent is rough, but no worse than the "faaah sigh-ed" Drog accent or the the countless scumbag Dub accents right down to the poxy cork and limerick scumbag accents.

Luckily I'm told quite often I don't have a strong Dundalk accent and I would hate it if I did but my God its not as bad as some. Rough Belfast accents go through me faster than a bullet for example.

ibh - Andrea Corr does not sing with her Accent. She has a Dundalk accent. Trust me, as a fellow Dundalkian they would still be playing the carrickdale if she sang with her accent.

Believe it or not, that big green smiley after her name was to show that I was having a laugh. Knowing the the ol Dundalk accent comes in for a bit of stick from time to time around here....

Just thinkin lads, anyone think a soccer KYN thread would be a good idea? Rule being you must be wearing a jersey, be at a stadium or be beside a player etc in the pic. Just a thought now that we have images.

I don't wear jersies, and I doubt I have any pics of me in a stadium tbh.

Twould do alright. Just an idea as I said but a lot of people on here seem to go to games and that over in England so I'm sure some of them would be interested in sticking up a pic or two of the game.

Not much of a jersey man myself Des. Don't really go for buying the latest Liverpool jersey or whatever. Walking advertising hoarding tbh.

I usually buy one if i have gone to a game in a foreign country e.g. Barca, Bilbao and Lyon jerseys are in my collection.

The last Dundalk jersey I bought was kidknapped from me when my bro was emigrating to Sydney..
