Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gonna be a long day. Out celebrating results last night, got back around half 3 and was locked out of my house for about 20 minutes. My family could sleep through a bloody hurricane. In work for 9 then.

Unlucky. My boss/brother is out of the office so another long day of wikipedia and boards ahead of me.

Actually it could be worse, my boss is out of the office as well today.

Where'd you say you worked? :pac:

I didn't but I doubt you're in the same offices. Unless you're one of 3 barely attractive but insanely quiet chicks.

Seriously, I'm scared to take a dump at work because I can hear them type from the jacks. These chicks need to stick on the radio or some ****. I CAN'T KEEP SAVING MY POOS! I've taken to going to places where you can sit down to eat just so I can use the crappers instead of getting my hot chicken rolls and watching youtube for lunch.

If you were playing indoor football tonight and you had a choice between ham +cheese toastie at home (free) chicken goujons with chips (€9) or chicken curry with rice and a croquette (€10) which would you eat?

I won't be eating again before I play at 8 so I want something with maximum energy and maximum filling cos I don't want to be hungry.

It's not the smell, it's the sound. I know if I heard a few loud farts followed by a couple of Kerplunks, I'd have a hard time keeping a straight face. That may say something about my maturity but seriously... Lol.

Yeah, but if you don't go and keep saving it, you'll probably get cancer of the ar$e or something and then your death will be on their conscience. So really, it's in their best interests for you to go in there with a newspaper and a smile and really let rip. Give them their lives back. Don't put that burden of guilt upon them. Let them live man, oh won't you please let them live!

You could always just construct toilet paper island and aim at that for a landing pad...

Nah, too risky. The first one to land will probably destroy the island.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭Kold

I'm actually busting for a crap now. My stomach is making odd noises. May have to try this TP island but it's the farts I'm worried about.

What an unsatisfying crap, contracting my ass everytime something feels like it might make a slight bit of noise. What's really f*cking dodge is that it smelt... nice? Exactly like the pizza and garlic bread I had last night. Might be a sign that I need to change the aul' diet.

    But thanks for the advice.

not sure where to post this, dont wanna start a thread on it, its not strictly football related

but Khalid Bouhlarouz daughter has died, he is going to stay in the Dutch squad though, sad news. cant believe he is staying at the euros! surely he wont be in the right frame of mind for this, and his wife must surely need him more right now

theres a link to the story on the football365 website homepage

its still there for me Des

it links to an external website, the last link on the main page headlines

    this is what it says

    and linky! http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3710659,00.html

Khalid Boulahrouz will remain with Holland's Euro 2008 squad despite the death of his prematurely-born daughter.

The defender, who started all three of Holland's group games, left training on Wednesday after his wife was hospitalised with pregnancy complications.

And the Dutch Football Federation has now said in a statement that Boulahrouz's daughter, Anissa, has died.

The statement said: "Players and staff of the Dutch team are upset by the death of Anissa, the daughter of Khalid Boulahrouz and his wife Sabia, who was born prematurely."

Holland, who are due to face Russia in the quarter-finals on Saturday, cancelled all activities which had been scheduled for Thursday afternoon.

    Support

Coach Marco van Basten said: "I understand it is very difficult for Khalid and we will all try to support him however we can."

Van Basten added that the defender would be given the freedom to leave the team's hotel whenever he wanted.

"He can always go to be with his wife," said the coach. "These are important matters, we all realise that only too well.

"He thanked everyone for their support. I think he acted very maturely."

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭Kold

I kinda feel bad about the abuse I've directed towards him. Should definitely go home tbh. He's got more tournaments in him and the Dutch look like they're going to get better.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

i was of the same opinion, i dont see how he can fully focus on the team now, so it would just make sense all round for him to be with his wife, she needs him more then football

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,372 ✭✭✭✭Mr Alan

Kryogen, that vid is quite outdated, he gave an interview tonight to GB the most respected football journalist on all matters spanish and was not quite as clear as that video. just so you know ;)

Off the topic of the sleazy Portgeezey, hes talked about enough, but now this is a real sportsman, tiger woods won the US Open on Monday in a playoff, despite being in very visible pain for much of the tournament, its been discovered today that he has a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament that will require reconstructive surgery and was also playing had a double stress fracture of his left tibia.

Wat a ****ing legend. truely remarkable, now...THERE is a modern sporting great.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,908 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

    Injured from playing golf. Lol

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

that video is relevant as its a couple of weeks old and is the last official comment he made on the matter!

lol now i do agree with you on the Tiger Woods subject, **** me that man is good

EDIT!come on GB! respectable like! haha

Tiger Woods is a hero Xavi, you gotta love him even if you dont love golf imo
