Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I thought Mansaram was almost as bad as Brennan, at least Crowe had a couple of shots off target during the match. Fenn should really have come on at some stage, hes the only one that can improve the interdepartmental coreography between midfield and attack. (tm Rico)

Fantastic goal. Out of the blue. Thought Pat's were fragile enough, though, and we were unlucky not to score. Too many of our players still ring-rusty. Hopefully that'll have woken them up.
On the positive side, it's early days, and it was a great turnout on the night.

We were putrid again last night. Had easily 65% possession but no penetration whatsoever. Dont think the Shams keeper had anything to do all night, and the centre halves of McGuire and Ferguson mopped up everything with no fuss at all.

Good to see Shams have cleaned up their "element". They were models of good behaviour after the game

That being said, out own morons were out of force as well.

Crowe is not mobile enought in general play IMO
Very similar to Hartson but nowhere near as dominant.

Anyone got a link to the Pats goal?

btw Bohs let me down for over 300 quid in nothing more than a hopeful bet.

The consolation being that I built my bet around them and they were the highest odds.

A draw tonight down in Waherfurd would be a good result.

Definitely wasn't Fahey anyway, the guy has no technique. :D

Rovers very unlucky last night. Will be interesting to see the Cawk goal again, as it didn't look to have crossed the line (linesman gave it) and we were denied two stonewall penalties. Devine taking Baker out was the clearest pentaly I have ever scence. A disgraceful call. Deffo 2 points dropped.

Their wonder midfield was wonderfully absent.

Still, 4 points from those two games is a good start.

bray were fierce poor friday, have a number of good players but couldn't get them playing as a unit. we weren't all that good but should beat any team in the relegation scrap playing like that.
