I was vegetarian for six years, freegan for a summer and straight edge for a year or two as well (if you're not now you never were, etc etc). Never got on well with veganism though. Mmm cheese.

I still wear my old straight edge metalcore t-shirts and I still have an unhealthy obsession with early Earth Crisis, but the lure of tasty beer is too much for me to resist these days.

I'm not straight edge, because that's a choice thing.
I haven't drank in over 8 years, because (to cut a long story short) I became alcohol intolerant. (Don't ask!)
I don't bother with pain killers either unless I'm absolutely dying with pain, as I'm very resistant to pain killers and anesthetics, so there's no point taking them.

straightedge ill never be. vegan, ive a lot of personal issues to sort out before i could genuinely contemplate it.

Was going to make a very rude and inappropriate female vegan joke but then thought better of it... but yis can probably guess...

I'm definately NOT straightedge, as I'm not opposed to those things, it's just a matter of I've no interest in drugs, and I CAN'T drink. Only reason I don't take painkillers is that they don't work... Found that out with a very painful trip to the dentists... where they assumed I was numb... and I wasn't... and it took several more anisthetic injections for them to numb me...

i really dont like it.

I actually told mine to go ahead before, although she was all hesitant and ended up stopping because she knew I could feel it... And it was an extraction rather than a filling... Think that the impressions of my fingers are still on the arm rests...
