Does anyone know anything about the history of a church type building on North King Street? It is no longer in use as a church but is a business premises of some sort.

Looks like quite an old building, was just wondering if there is any history behind it, particularly in light of its close proximity to St Michan's.

It is called St. Paul's. The original church on the site served a parish created from part of the larger St. Michan's in 1697.
That church fell into disrepair and the current building was built betwen 1821 and 1824. It closed for worship in November 1987 and is now an Enterprise centre.

It is possibly the burial place of Robert Emmet, a headless corpse having been found in a vault at some stage.
