I was going to bed, to be honest. Was out in Kilkenny sat night, didn't leave till half-three ish. by the time I got home, and had a cup of tea after the drive, I was going to bed at five.

    still wasn't bright though :(

That thing with the food happened in Tesco recently, paid 4.99 for a pack of eight activia yogurts, and the use by day was the same day. very very cheeky on their parts - not impressed at all.

Its really annoying, and the hassle of bringing it back. I never bother but becoming more and more aware to check the dates before I pick up anything

Dairy products do seem to be the worst for this....happened to me on a few occassions with Danone's. Never got them out of date but a lot of times they seem to be a day or two away from the date.

    +1
is this about anything in carlow...?
if so garden trees were stolen in the pollerton area on sunday night, just wondering if anyone else in the area had garden tampered with, we dont know that many in the area so its not like it was a feud with the neighbour or personal thing, we live on a quiet road where all houses are occupied by nice friendly families,
i know its only garden trees could be worse...but they were mine and cost me money and dont appreciate someone entering my garden, it happenend between 10/11.30pm

My condolences for the dog. My parents dog was put to sleep about 2 months ago. We were all heartbroken over him.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I have my dog just over 3 months now and I've grown so attached to him. I can't imagine him not being here. I don't even want to think about him dying.

    What was your lab's name?

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,473 ✭✭✭✭Super-Rush

His name was Brandy, golden lab. Was crushed by a lorry today. The worst part was that my brother was standing right beside him at the time and saw the whole thing.

That's horrible. I'm almost in tears at the thought.
