Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tesco Heath Voucher Scheme

I was excited to hear that Tesco, in association with VHI Healthcare, are planning to launch a health voucher scheme that allows you: “Shop yourself safe, shop yourself healthy” in the coming Autumn.

The ‘Tesco Lifestage Choices Health Voucher Scheme’ (working title) enables those who have signed up to the VHI’s Forward Plan to exchange vouchers from Tesco purchases for increased Level 1 and Level 2 cover (covering day to day medical expenses such as GP visits and complementary alternative therapies) as well as contributing toward the cover of a private room in most private hospitals. (Excludes the Beacon Hospital, the Blackrock Clinic and Mater Private Hospital.)

Rather than being redeemable coupons, the vouchers are intended to compliment the monthly €90.22 Forward Plan deal, which when you think about it is fair enough really.

At last, someone who isn’t whingeing or playing the blame game and has decided to show some initiative instead, going forward.
