Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Truly awful stuff, McFadden aside. Newcastle seem utterly bereft of anything postive.

if newcastle loose this, i really will start to believe they will go down. imagine. they deserve if for the way they have treated their managers over the past 5 years.

Good game for the intensity in the second half, not a showcase of skill though.

Newcastle have upped it big time in the last 10minutes.

livescore tells me Owen has scored anyway.

If he gets on some sort of run of form there could be hope for Newky yet..

a point from this would be decent enough anyway, if just to keep Brum down there as well.

Newcastle were far better in the second half, Owen dropped deep as Viduka stayed up and Martins went fowards from wide. With players like Geremi and Faye they are always going to be in trouble though! Barton is a shadow of the Citeh terroriser.

As a Newky fan this is a great point. Brum ave been difficult to beat at home since McLeish took over so I am satisfied with the point, but we definitely could have taken all 3.

The most pleasing aspect of the game was the second half performance. We seemed to look much more like a team, with everybody fighting for the cause. I have giving him some stick this season, but Butt was superb in midfield tonight.

Also, pleased with Keegan's performance. Leaving Smith on the bench and starting with Martins, Owen, and Viduka is what we need at the moment. Also, he must have drum up some confidence at half time as the boys looked much better second half.

Was very impressed with McFadden, I think he will be the difference in keepin Brum up this season, a real battler.
