Anyone know if the southbound lane of the road between Dundrum and Sandyford is still closed?

yes, the southbound side is still closed.

You can, however, go up to the turn to Ballaly drive, and come out at the top of the estate (near clonard), but you have to turn back on the North side.

This is useful if you need to get to St Tiernans school or Ballaly itself.
