Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anyone tell me exactly where the bleed screw is on this type of boiler? I have the cover off the pump, and I can see the big red restart button. Where is the bleed screw in comparison to that? I believe its an allen screw, there is one facing me, below the red button to the left of it. I've loosened that one, but no…

Hi, I might be a little behind here on what's happening. Have you tried unscrewing the nut where the pipe comes into the boiler, as in the oil inlet pipe?

I take it you mean unscrewing the flexi-pipe and sucking on it like mentioned earlier in this thread?
If that's the only option I'll give it a go tomorrow evening so. Was hoping there might be an easier solution I hadn't yet tried but I guess not.

yes, thats what i mean. My boiler locked out on sunday and i had to do that, but i also used a bicycle pump to push air into the hose , which seemed to work.I got my husband to pump the pump while i held the 2 ends together. It started flowing. I re attached it but it still wouldn't start up so after a few try's(resets), i undid that big jutting out bolt thing with the allen key and started it up, the oil came spilling out so i tightened it and reset and it started. Thankfully!
